Purpose by Law;

The center is the only center established within Gazi University to establish the necessary infrastructure for the conduct of experimental research using laboratory animals in a healthy manner and within the framework of ethical rules. The Center aims to produce and care for experimental animals at international standards for research projects in which laboratory animals will be used, to provide basic laboratory requirements and technical conditions for experimental research, to prepare the infrastructure for advanced molecular research, and to follow up the implementation of practices within the framework of ethics.

Purpose as Center;

• To increase the number and quality of research projects and therefore international publications by directing all faculty members and especially young researchers to the center,

• To start activities such as cell culture and stem cells at our center as soon as possible,

• Currently, we are at the forefront of Research Centers of other Universities in Turkey in terms of research-related tools, devices, cage equipment, and experimental animals, and we are shown as an example by Veterinary Faculties. Our most important goal is to raise the bar on the scientific platform and to lead the way in terms of animal ethics,

• To give certification to the researchers on the Use of Experimental Animals by organizing the "Experimental Animals Practice and Ethics Course" every year regularly.
